For the underground mining and tunnelling industries, Molecular Products’ collective protection technologies sustain breathable atmospheres in sealed environments. oxygen generators, such as the MineSpec MPOG, designed specifically for use in the mining market; carbon dioxide absorber units filled with Molecular Products’ world leading CO2 soda lime; and cartridges pre-filled with high performance filtration media to adsorb or oxidize toxic gases, such as carbon monoxide.
An update to regulations in specific safety applications in the US resulted in a loose fill soda lime method for CO2 removal no longer being acceptable. Molecular Products was approached by this customer base to design a pre-packed soda lime product to overcome this issue.
